Master of Physiotherapy, Western University
Born into a family fanatical about sports, fitness, health, and wellness, Jordan's desire to become a physiotherapist revealed itself gradually until he discovered that his passion for lifelong health and wellness was a gift that he could transform into a livelihood. Growing up in southern Alberta and working on a family farm during the summers, Jordan learned the importance of relationships, integrity, and giving back to one's community. In February of 2014, he made the best decision of his life and married Alexis Zaugg from Cardston. They currently have one young son, Maverick. Although their lives are often busy, they wouldn't have it any other way.
Prior to graduating from Western University's MPT program in London, Ontario, Jordan volunteered with and learned under the direction of Elite's own Brian Boehme. Jordan believes that by providing individualized client-centred care he will help empower patients and optimize outcomes. Jordan is always up for a challenge and enjoys working with a diverse patient population. He has a special interest in shoulder injuries, sports-related injuries, functional return to sport/work, injury prevention programs, concussions, and persistent pain. Jordan is constantly challenging the status quo as he reviews updated scientific literature to help deliver the best evidence-informed care. Jordan enjoys bridging the gap from rehabilitation to performance in both young and old.
Whether he is training, coaching a team, or treating a client, one thing is certain in his pursuit of excellence: Jordan will do anything possible to meet and exceed expectations. He is super excited to be a part of the Elite Sports Medicine team and to continue making a difference in the lives of all those he encounters.
