Registered Massage Therapist - RMT
College Diploma, Mount Royal College
Deanna graduated from Mount Royal College Massage Therapy Program in 2003 and practiced in Calgary in a busy multidisciplinary health clinic before moving to Lethbridge in 2011. She offers twelve years of intensive practical massage experience, successfully treating a wide range of muscular dysfunctions including tension headaches, low back pain, shin splints, carpal tunnel syndrome, tennis elbow and other conditions with positive results.
Throughout Deanna’s career, she has focused on sports injuries and acute/chronic accident injuries as well as stressors such as poor posture, repetitive motion, and workplace ergonomics. Over the years Deanna has volunteered as a massage therapist for the Royal Bank Dragon Boat team (Calgary) and the Dragon Force team in Lethbridge. She's also spent two years travelling throughout the British Isles & Europe to broaden her horizons. Deanna is a soul believer in the power of massage therapy to enhance an individual's overall sense of well being and quality of life. Her experience with clients has proven that massage is beneficial not only as an effective treatment for a variety of injuries but as a powerful preventative measure as well.
When Deanna's not doing yoga or participating in the next 30...60 day yoga challenge, she likes spending time in nature, hiking or exploring new areas of our beautiful coulees with her dog Harley. She also loves dabbling in colourful acrylic painting and photography.
